Institute member Mr. Shen attended the Heavy Oil Research Network (HORNET) Semi-Annual Meeting in Calgary. HORNET serves as a collaborative platform, bringing together public and industry stakeholders to shape the research program and approve projects that advance. Attendance at the meetings held significance for establishing crucial connections with peers from universities, colleges, and industries across Canada. Mr. Shen delivered a presentation on the latest progress of an ongoing project funded by HORNET, emphasizing GHG emission mitigation and sustainable development for the oil and gas industry.
