The Climate Change Data Portal is a tool to assess the future impacts of climate change on agriculture, ecosystems, water, infrastructure, energy development, immigration, and other human activities.
The portal provides access to the most current high-resolution climate data in Canada. Four modules are represented in the network: Canada, the Prairies, and Ontario, as well as China.
The network is the first coordinated effort for projecting climate change in Canada using high-resolution regional climate simulations. This helps decision makers to assess the impacts of climate change in different emission scenarios, and plan adaptation strategies to reduce the various risks associated with climate change, and keep Canadians safe.
