IEESC members Jian Shen, Peng Zhang, and Kai Zhao finished field sampling at a compressor station. The goal of the sampling trip was to collect local biomass for biochar production, thereby creating an ecological cycle for low-footprint, long-term soil remediation. The project was funded by SaskEnergy and Mitacs.
