The Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society featured IEESC's Ontario Climate Change Data Portal in its January 2016 issue. The summary is titled "GIS-based Data Portal for Climate Change Impact Assessment" and highlights features of the Ontario CCDP.

 

The portal was launched by IEESC in January 2014 with support from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. The portal is designed for easy access to the latest high-resolution climate scenarios for the province of Ontario. As of January 2016, Ontario CCDP has received more than 17,300 download requests from more than 200 registered users from across Canada, including academia, municipal and provincial government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.
