On November 14, 2016, Dr. Wael El-Dakhakhni arrived in Regina. Dr. El-Dakhakhni is currently a Professor of Civil Engineering and the Director of the Applied Dynamics Laboratory at McMaster University. He delivered a seminar entitled "Resilience, Multi-hazard and Systemic Risk " to the University community. Afterwards, Dr. El-Dakhakhni had a thorough discussion with IEESC staff and students on his latest research and possible collaborations. He was very satisfied with the visit outcome and plans to conduct more research collaborations with IEESC.
