On June 20, 2016, Dr. David Hanly from SaskPower delivered a presentation entitled “Adaptation to Climate Change in Saskatchewan.” Dr. Hanly, SaskPower Consultant – Strategic Corporate Development, Resource Planning, explained how future climate models can be used to inform decisions on investment in energy infrastructure to reduce impacts from climate change.
IEESC, in association with the International Society for Environmental Information Sciences, has organized a forum called the Global Vision on Resources and Environmental Informatics dedicated to the development of information systems technology for resources and environmental applications. The forum series aims to build an innovative platform for motivating information exchange, knowledge sharing, and brain storming. Dr. Cai is the first keynote presentation of the series.
