Meeting Held for Upcoming L2M Launch Program

IEESC members met with Andrew Doan, Commercialization Officer at the University of Regina, to discuss detailed preparations for the upcoming L2M Launch Program, which is scheduled to begin this summer and span four months.

The meeting focused on outlining strategic actions to facilitate the project’s early-stage implementation and ensure a smooth transition from research to commercialization. Two primary directions were identified as priorities for the program’s advancement:

1. Accelerating the establishment of a product demonstration site – This facility will serve as a proof-of-concept platform to showcase the core functionalities and real-world applicability of the technology, helping to build credibility and attract interest from stakeholders and potential investors.
2. Discovering and engaging with potential partners – Strategic partnerships will be sought to support various aspects of the commercialization process, including technical validation, regulatory navigation, market positioning, and product deployment.

This collaborative discussion marked a significant milestone in laying the foundation for a successful L2M launch. The team expressed confidence in the program’s potential to translate innovative research outcomes into impactful, market-ready solutions.
