IEESC Welcomes Dr. Shuang Nie

The IEESC at the University of Regina is thrilled to welcome Dr. Shuang Nie as a postdoctoral researcher.
Dr. Nie completed his B.A.Sc. (Hons.), M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Toronto in 2017, 2019, and 2024, respectively. His research is supported by funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
Dr. Nie's expertise spans energy system modeling, optimization, power electronics, and wireless charging for electric vehicles. His innovative research aligns perfectly with IEESC's mission to develop sustainable energy solutions and address critical energy challenges.
