IEESC members attend ICESD 2024 Meeting

IEESC members were invited to present their research achievements at the 15th International Conference on Environmental Science and Development (ICESD 2024) on August 7-9, 2024. The ICESD 2024 was held in Calgary, Canada, with a focus on research highlights in environmental science and development. This conference provided a leading forum for researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to exchange new ideas, share research findings and foster intentional collaborations. At the conference, Bin Luo and Leian Chen presented outstanding research and received the Best Presentation Award for their respective works on "Development of a stochastic siting model for small modular reactor deployment in electric power systems - A case study of Saskatchewan, Canada" and "Direct and indirect GHG emission implications of electricity system's low-carbon transitions: A stochastic optimization-driven input-output model."
