IEESC students carried out field samping at Melville compressor station

On October 17th, IEESC members Jian Shen and Kai Zhao conducted field sampling at the Melville compressor station. The goal of the sampling trip was to collect native biomass and soil for a research project funded by SaskEnergy and Mitacs. The field sampling was successfully completed. These samples will be used to produce and test functionalized biochar for enhanced soil remediation.
