Dr. Ning Chen from Canadian Light Source visits IEESC

From April 22 to 24, 2019, Dr. Ning Chen from Canadian Light Source (CLS) had a two-day visit to IEESC. Dr. Chen is currently Senior Staff Scientist & Beamline Responsible of Hard X-Ray MicroAnalysis (HXMA) Beamline of CLS. On the morning of April 23, Dr. Chen gave an interesting seminar entitled “Opportunities for Research at the Canadian Light Source
XAS: A Molecular Scale Approach in Environmental and Energy Studies” to UR campus. After this seminar, Dr. Chen had a thorough discussion with IEESC researchers. He was very satisfied with the visit outcome and would like to conduct more research collaboration with IEESC in the future.
