On June 10, 2016, Dr. Qingyun Duan from Beijing Normal University delivered a presentation entitled "Uncertainty quantification of complex dynamical models using UQ-PyL." Dr. Quan, who is the National Chair Professor and Chief Scientist at the College of Global Change and Earth System Sciences, illustrated the different functions of the open source software UQ-PyL through a case study using the research and forecasting model.
IEESC, in association with the International Society for Environmental Information Sciences, has organized a forum called the Global Vision on Resources and Environmental Informatics dedicated to the development of information systems technology for resources and environmental applications. The forum series aims to build an innovative platform for motivating information exchange, knowledge sharing, and brain storming.
