Dr. Qingyun Duan from Beijing Normal University visited IEESC

On the night of June 8, 2016, Dr. Qingyun Duan, the National Chair Professor and Chief Scientist at the College of Global Change and Earth System Sciences, Beijing Normal University, arrived in Regina and started his 2-day visit to IEESC. On June 10, Dr. Duan gave an interesting seminar entitled "Uncertainty quantification of complex dynamical models using UQ-PyL". After it, Dr. Duan had a thorough discussion with IEESC staff and students on his latest research and possible collaboration. He was very satisfied with the visit outcome and would like to conduct more research collaborations with IEESC in the future.
