Dr. Yongping Li won 11th Chinese Female Scientist Award

On January 16, 2015, IEESC alumna Dr. Yongping Li from North China Electrical Power University (NCEPU) won the 11th Chinese Female Scientist Award at the award ceremony, co-organized by All-China Women's Federation, China Association for Science and Technology, China National Commission for UNESCO and L'Oréal China. It was the first time for a professor from NCEPU to win this award. Also known as the top prize for female scientists in China, the award recognizes female researchers who have made outstanding and creative research achievements. Fewer than 10 scientists win this award every year. Dr. Li pursued her graduate studies at IEESC from 2003 to 2007.
