Canadian Light Source Workshop July 28, 2015

IEESC hosted officials from the Canadian Light Source for a workshop held on July 28, 2015. Dr. Thomas Ellis, Dr. Joyce McBeth and Dr. Chithra Karunakaran from the CLS visited Regina to give talks about different aspects of the science and infrastructure available at this synchrotron radiation facility, share their beamline expertise and provide tips for strong beam time proposals. There was a mix of presentations and discussions from the CLS, and Dr. Mauricio Barbi and Dr. Chunjiang An offered their perspectives on using synchrotron techniques.
