Dr. Wei Sun appointed River Hydraulics & Ice Engineer with Alberta Ministry of Environment & Sustainable Resources

Dr. Wei Sun was recently appointed River Hydraulics and Ice Engineer, River Forecast Section, with the Operations Infrastructure Branch, Alberta Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Resources. Dr. Sun obtained his PhD degree at IEESC in May 2012. During the course of his study here, Dr. Sun showed excellence in his academic and research works, and produced a number of peer-refereed journal publications. Dr. Sun left Regina for Edmonton on the morning of September 27, 2014. On the eve of his departure, Dr. Sun expressed his appreciation to all IEESC staff and wishes to collaborate with IEESC in the future.
